Tame 03:07
TAME Another day, another scar You made my dreams appear so far And good intentions set aside You restrained me You say no one can beat the odds And to obscurity you fade You're always trying to persuade I am you Don't tell me we're the same Don't tell me that you feel my pain Don't tell me things will change Don't tell me that it's age That's making me behave this way Don't tame me Another town another night I sometimes wonder if you're right When the vanity of the stage and lights Begins to blind You say you know what it's about And yet your words are filled with doubt I barely fight to urge to shout, within me Don't tell me we're the same... Day to day and side to side I choose to live how I decide To swim against the tide Or claim the life I am denied We're not the same I won't be tamed Don't tell me we're the same...

Nobody Knows 03:22
NOBODY KNOWS I see what I see Only me and you will never know I take the highs with the lows And it shows You’re never alone And though you try You just can’t bring it to a close You make yourself justify it And nobody knows I do what I say Only me and you will never know It's not as simple as they make it, no When you have to face it alone And though you try To take a stand or set the tone You make yourself justify it Don't try to deny it Because nobody knows But I do I find it so overwhelming Can't give up pretending And nobody knows But I do

Substitute 03:51
SUBSTITUTE I’m looking for a substitute, a substitute for love It’s failed me far too many times I’m looking for a substitute, to get you off my mind These days they’re not so hard to find Because I want more, more than a dead emotion That satisfies everyone else I’m looking for a chemical solution So I can stop all this pretense I’m looking for a substitute a substitute for truth Tomorrow I’ll be first in line To try it I’m looking for synthetic hope in my pragmatic future Maybe the substitute could fake you Replace you erase you So why want more, more than the dead emotion That satisfies everyone else An amnesty in a chemical solution To end regret, help me forget a substitute for love is all I have A substitute, a substitute for love

AS SUMMER DIES It’s always been too late the racing clocks of escaping fate they were never on my side I’m finally leaving them behind I’m looking at the map wondering where I’ll be when the clock strikes twelve in twenty twenty three hoping maybe it’s foretold that I will make it through the cold Is it too late for me, to look the storm in the eye to face the consequence and live before I die Let this moment be my exodus, as winter comes for all of us Remember love and bless the fall as summer dies I pray no god but I do ask myself, how far I’ve gone to make amends Remember love and bless the fall as summer dies It’s always been my fault, the proving grounds of my youths revolt are soaked in blood and bitter tears, the precious fruit of wasted years But there’s a clarity that all this baggage brings And when it’s said and done I wouldn’t change a thing I throw my questions to the wind I’m finally ready to begin Is it too late for me to look the storm in the eye to face the consequence and live before I die Let this moment be my exodus, as winter comes for all of us Remember love and bless the fall as summer dies I pray no god but I do ask myself, how far I’ve gone to make amends Remember love and bless the fall as summer dies

TOMORROW’S RAIN Your dark hair The mistakes our memories share I never had a doubt I turn around to you To face your stare Snow around us, cold and bare But there’s something in the air Between us Tomorrow’s rain Release the pain within Tomorrow’s rain is ready to begin Tomorrow’s rain will guide my way again Though it breaks the heart in two I go there I go there without you The words we share Like a spell of old But the dreams I hold Won't pass you for another All that remains, all that remains An empty silent glance A solemn kiss and one last dance Tomorrow’s rain Release the pain within Tomorrow’s rain is ready to begin Tomorrow’s rain will guide my way again Though it breaks the heart in two I go there I go there without you

about

Hartsbane's debut EP. Here's what the critics think:

"Hartsbane is a new band in the metal arena…and they are one to watch. Their debut EP, As Summer Dies, shows the band is energetic, heavy and yet, contains a certain “radio-friendliness” that permeates their sound. "
- A Look Into Music

"Gets the hair standing up on the body. It’s fantastic."
- GBHBL

"The acoustics piece – Tomorrows Rain – totally took me by surprise. Not because it is really outstanding, but it confirms that penchant towards variety. And that – last, but not least – Hartsbane really is nobody’s bitch, and will go down its own path. And so it should, indeed."
- Rock Music Radar

"it takes something of a hard rock edge into the sound and has a big clean vocal sound from Kerzhner, who could easily turn his voice to any cover the band should choose without being over shadowed by the original vocalist."
- Metal Noise

The songs are specters. They have history. Some are decades old, haunting my memory longer than I can remember, others are far more recent, the epigraph of a chapter that’s been far too long in the making. They span many people, life changes, stories and events. Around these songs, friendships were built and lost, lovers were celebrated and mourned. They have been my soundscape long enough and now it is their time to be heard and experienced by others.

I’d like to thank everyone whose hands have touched this music and my heart over the years. Aviram Zeevy, Amit Fortus and Alon Shulman for giving me a chance to bring these songs to the stage. Adam Ma’or, Leo Pisaq, Roman Mishko, Elram Boxer, Matan Shmuely, Idan Amsalem, Nir Shaked, Erez Naveh, Nir Bar Av and Johnny Ace, Hera Ida, Sagi Appel, Oron and Hagit, Yossi Sassi, Shevet and Ofer Dvir, thank you for your part in this.

Thank you Noa, for sparking this flame a new. Without you this might never have happened.

Lastly, thank you. For reading this, for experiencing. See you on the road.
